At TechMarketView we’re proud of the fact that we spend as much time talking to small UK software and IT services (SITS) firms as we do to the giants of the industry. We call these SMEs Little British Battlers and the LBB logo has since become a beacon for innovative SMEs that are punching above their weight.

Little British Battler Days

In 2012 we ran our inaugural Little British Battler Day, inviting applications from small, privately held UK-headquartered tech firms who were looking for some candid, expert feedback on their company and propositions and, of course, some ‘airtime’ in TechMarketView’s research – for free!

We were overwhelmed by the response and choosing just 12 to come and meet us from some 200 applications was no easy task. But such was the success of the first LBB event that we held another LBB Day early in 2013 at which we got to know another dozen companies. The programme is now well established with two LBB events held each year.

The SMEs that are chosen to participate in our LBB days get a chance to present their company to the TechMarketView analyst team, discuss their strategy and receive constructive feedback. Each LBB also gets a write-up in UKHotViews and features in a research report available to eligible TechMarketView subscription clients.
